Chapter Two – An Autumn Tale: Blackberry Cottage
The Dew Drop Storybook Collection is based on Dew Drop Village which are my handmade fantasy cottages.
Each month there will be a new chapter to collect with artwork inspired by my handmade cottages, collectable stationery and keepsakes, and a story that gradually builds into the ever-growing tale of Dew Drop Village. We will be meeting the characters that live in the cottages and exploring the Magical Realm.
Chapter Two continues the collection with an autumn tale about Blackberry Cottage and the very first magical artefact. All stories written by me.
This magical second edition contains:
· The Village News
· The story in an A5 punched wallet
· Bookmark
· Stickers
· Fridge Magnet
· Mini collectible quote card
· A Magical Artefact
Everything is printed by me, on 300gsm inkjet card, inkjet paper for the newsletter or gloss sticker paper.
The story comes in an A5 punched clear pocket so you can pop it in a binder to build your collection.
The mini quote card is business card sized with the quote from the story printed on the back. These will build up into a collection.
The fridge magnet is acrylic with the image printed and encased within.
There are 3 stickers in this set. Two featuring Blackberry Cottage and the third is a little autumn themed mushroom house that I painted. Stickers are not waterproof.
This chapter sees the first Magical Artefact! These will appear in some chapters and will be small handmade pieces of the realm to collect. In chapter two we have the first leaf of autumn, made from clay and hand painted, this hanging leaf comes with a little extra story on a decorative card.
Each chapter will arrive by Royal Mail Tracked 48 in a nice box with tissue paper. Delivery is included in the price and no extra will be charged at checkout unless you are buying other items at the same time.
Each chapter will continue to be available once launched though may be out of stock from time to time where there are items that have to be restocked from an outside source.
The illustration process begins with a handmade cottage being photographed and edit by myself. I then use an AI program to give a watercolour effect. The image is then edited by me in Ibis Paint until I’m happy with it. I then further edit to size it to the different formats for printing which is done by me for almost all of the items.
All stories are written by me.
