This handmade mushroom scene is sculpted from air drying clay and features faux crystals, made by pouring molten powders with mica into a mould. A process with a similar result to resin, the faux crystals are shades of teal, turquoise and purple with mica and metallic flakes.
The three mushrooms are painted a beautiful mix of metallic purple and blue which doesn't photo well.
The base is MDF covered in textured clay with sculpted rocks. The rocks are a pale grey and the base is brushed over with metallic teals and purples.
There are grassy tufts in green and purple.
It's finished off with a little matching butterfly.
Painted in hard wearing acrylic paint.
