At dawn, when the dew is still balancing like tiny crystal hats on every leaf, the fairy steps into her blossom filled garden. With a teacup of rosehip nectar in hand, she murmurs encouragement to buds that feel shy about blooming. A gentle tweak here. A sprinkle of shimmering compost there. By mid-morning, flowers that had been thinking about it all week suddenly burst into colour.
It is said that if you walk past Rose Cottage at golden hour, you might see a petal drift through the air without any wind at all. That will be Rose finishing her evening spell, ensuring Dew Drop Village wakes to a garden slightly more beautiful than the day before.
Rose Cottage is a magical fairy house sculpted from air drying clay and many hours in the making. The stone effect cottage has a thatched roof in many metallic shades with a large climbing pink rose.
There are numerous details including, a rose trellis around the door, pond, flower pots, leaf chair, broom, mini mushrooms, clay flowers, bushes, foliage, small blossom trees, steps, path, chimney and a little butterfly.
The roses are pink with metallic highlights. The base is a sturdy MDF circle covered in sculpted clay.
Size: base 20cm / 8" height aprox. 12cm /4.5"
Indoor use only, dust carefully with a soft dry brush and keep out of reach of young children. Keep away from anything sharp that could stick into the clay covered base. Handle with care.
